Aims and Scope
GJEFM — Global Journal of Education, Finance and Management
The Global Journal of Education, Finance and Management (GJEFM) publishes peer-reviewed research at the intersection of education, financial management, and organizational practice. We work with the recognition that these three fields increasingly inform each other: educational institutions are managed financially, financial professionals are trained through education, and management research draws on both. We publish work that engages substantively with at least one of these three fields, with particular interest in work that bridges them.
We publish empirical research articles, conceptual and theoretical contributions, systematic reviews, applied case studies, and policy analyses. Mixed-methods, longitudinal, and case-study designs are welcomed alongside conventional quantitative and qualitative approaches.
The journal's scope covers:
- Education research, including educational policy, curriculum and pedagogy at higher education and professional levels, educational economics and finance, technology in education, sociology of education, and educational leadership
- Finance, including corporate finance, financial markets, banking, financial decision-making, fintech, financial regulation, and financial literacy and education
- Management, including strategic management, organizational behavior, human resource management, operations management, leadership, marketing, and entrepreneurship
- Cross-cutting themes: educational management and administration, financial education and pedagogy, business school research, accounting education, executive education, and the management of educational institutions
- Applied policy work in education and finance with implications for management practice
We particularly welcome work grounded in real organizational, educational, or financial contexts; work that engages with policy debates substantively; and replication or extension studies that test established findings in new contexts.
What we do not publish: short opinion pieces without a research basis, articles entirely outside the three fields (purely psychological, sociological, or technical work without an education/finance/management framing), or commentary that restates well-known positions without contribution.
